Antonin Scalia was a controversial figure when he was a justice on the United States Supreme Court. As one of the most powerful men in the country, he made decisions that were cheered or jeered, depending on one's political leanings. Whatever his political opponents said however, no one doubted his sincerity and conviction in either his personal or his public life.
Soon after his death, I found this article that touched my heart and made me think twice about how I treat people.
Justice Scalia's Great Heart

Family Discussion Guide
-What would you have done in this situation?
-What did this action say about Scalia's personal beliefs?
-Are your actions consistent with your beliefs?
-Perhaps try role playing this situation. Sometimes our initial reaction is not a good one. By role playing, we can practice living up to our deeper beliefs. This is not being insincere--it is practicing for the test so we can pass it when it comes.
Community Question: Have you had similar moments? What did you do to show compassion and love?
Hi, I'm Jen! I adore chocolate, I'd rather read than clean my house, and I haven't seen my abs in I-don't-know-how-long. But I love my husband and kids to death and try to Raise The Good within myself and my family by making wise and uplifting media choices and having a deliberate family culture. You are probably doing the same thing. Let's share what works with each other!
