How many times do we just quickly glance at our families and others close to us, without really looking at them? As we go through our busy days, which turn into busy weeks, months and years, sometimes we forget. We forget how much they mean to us. We forget to do kind things for them, we forget to show and tell them of our love, we forget that they won't always be here on earth with us. In an age were we spend a lot of time looking at screens (including this one!), perhaps we need to spend more time looking at those most important to us.

-What did you feel as you watched this?
-What feelings did the people in the video experience?
-Try this experiment yourself (but you might want to decide whether to have your kids watch it before or after you try the activity).
-How can we include looking at each other as part of our natural day's activities?
Community Question: As you were looking at them, what did you notice about your loved one that you had forgotten about?
Hi, I'm Jen! I adore chocolate, I'd rather read than clean my house, and I haven't seen my abs in I-don't-know-how-long. But I love my husband and kids to death and try to Raise The Good within myself and my family by making wise and uplifting media choices and having a deliberate family culture. You are probably doing the same thing. Let's share what works with each other!
